The RPM Package Manager (RPM) is a powerful command line driven
package management system capable of installing, uninstalling,
verifying, querying, and updating software packages.
Each software package consists of an archive of files along with
information about the package like its version, a description, etc.

RPM 4.2.1 Installer, for Mac OS X 10.3 "Panther"

The RPM port to Mac OS X was done by Keisuke Fujii.


This is a standalone installation of RPM that installs into /usr/local,
and not a regular system /usr one that is used in Red Hat Linux etc.

Jeff Johnson's RPM 4.4+ development has moved to wraptastic.org,
this project is for the legacy versions of RPM used by Fedora/RHEL.

All RPM for Mac OS X development is taking place at rpm5.org
